Great fun! Like last year, I worked as allowed by the family (one of these Octobers, I'll have to go on a hamcation, to work uninterrupted and see how well I can do) but was allowed a bit more than last time and closed out early with a total of 210 contacts. Majority on 10m, unlike last time with very few 10m contacts, and 15m. I logged a TON of Europ…

FT8 Stuff

I'm typically using a Xiegu G90 (20w) for FT8, with a xggcomms Digimode-4 for connectivity to my laptop that is dedicated to portable ops (also see pota). I also sometimes use the Xiegu X6100. The G90 is the go-to though.

EDIT: After adding the digi-rig for the 857d, it's a different game. I use that setup while doing POTA and don't struggle as much when I need to snag a lot of contacts! :D
