====== FT8 Stuff ======
I'm typically using a Xiegu G90 (20w) for FT8, with a xggcomms Digimode-4 for connectivity to my laptop that is dedicated to portable ops (also see [[about_me:pota|pota]]).  I also sometimes use the Xiegu X6100.  The G90 is the go-to though. 

EDIT: After adding the digi-rig for the 857d, it's a different game.  I use that setup while doing POTA and don't struggle as much when I need to snag a lot of contacts! :D  

Can't wait to activate again with this thing to show its reach.

First shot on 10m FT8 and WOW! A bunch of local hits (within 15 miles or so) and then massive skip!\\
I'll have to remember this - time was approx. 2030(z) 10w only.
